Never got the praise for Ny Batteri, there at least 5 other songs on the album that are better.
And this is by far Sigur Ros' best. ( ) has grown off me.

( ) and Takk grow off people because they aren't that good and after the initial "ohhh that's pretty" there's not that much to them. This on the other hand, has an untraceable charm about it that makes it stand up to repeated listens. Just better songwriting, I guess.

I like Med a lot, though, just because I think these guys do the whole folk poppy thing pretty well. I agree that ( ) is pretty lackluster, but Takk has always been my favorite.
