I dont know what the hell this guy was thinking when he write this review. First off Metallica has always been with Electra so the quality is still good. Now Slayers early sounds different but it still rules. They were with Metal Blade until "Reign In Blood" came out in 1986. That is when the moved to American Records. The songs kick ass on this album and Anesthesia is a classic. ask any person who plays bass and they'll tell you. To set the record straight Kill Em All IS NOT A PUNK OR BLUES ALBUM!!!! Whoever thought of that should just jump of a bridge because obvoiusly you dont know anything about music!!! This album does sound a bit different but listen to Kill Em All and then listen to The Black Album it waz just a change the group went through like all bands do. This waz just an amazing album hands down it had some of the most killer songs like Seek And Destroy, whiplash, Anesthesia, Metal Militia, and The Four Horsemen I would give this album a 20/10

im a metallica fan and i hate seel and destroy and i also hate enter sandman....and nothing else mathers is starting to get on my nerves

This is an awesome album full of great solos and amazing bass, but has anyone else realized that half of the album is just E-string eigth notes the whole time? Not Metallica's best, but a good one.

This is a killer CD. Not as good as the next 3 albums, but it's still amazing. My 3 favorite songs are No Remorse, Phantom Lord, and The Four Horsemen. Definately a thrash classic.

i love seek and destroy along with motorbreath, four horsemen, whiplash, ok the whole albums brilliant, but i must admit seek and destroy is gettin a bit old for me, i 've listened to it a lot. But then i listen to it live and its like " wow, where have u been all my life?" but i guess all metallica songs live have that affect. Even enter sandman.

Well, on the subject of James hitting the higher notes, it wouldn's sound right to be singing perfectly and cleanly during a lightning fast thrash song....If you ask me it sounds like a cross between a howl and a growl. Awesome reviews

no you got me wrong.....i love the way james sings, but i dont think he sings that great in seek & destroy....i still think that song is one of the weakest fromt their first 4 albums

This is a great album metal up your ass all the way. Seek and Destroy definetly rulez. That song is like a trademark of metallica along with mop and sandman. That song even though some people don't like is a whole lot better than some of the crap that comes out today Cough HIM Cough Fallout Boy ahem sry bout that. My favorite tracks from the album are Four horsemen, Motorbreath, and of course seek and destroy.
