Wait, this one is way better than I remember. Similar to Medulla in that it’s a little inconsistent but there’s still some great material here. In fact I think this one is better. Declare Independence is a blast. The opening run is pretty darn strong as well.
This feels like a quirky, slightly haphazard Debut mk:II in many ways, both records aren’t afraid to be fun and display a little tongue-in-cheek silliness.

The opening four-track run is the best, for sure, but I also love 'Vertebrae by Vertebrae', 'Hope', and 'My Juvenile'. There ain't a "bad" song on the album, though.
