uses the samurai champloo OST with the MC Substantial rapping over it. i really enjoyed it, but if you
tend to only go for instrumental hiphop i wouldn't bother with it

I'll see to that, just finished the last episode too hmm

have you seen Cowboy Bebop? quite similar to Champloo minus no hiphop themes or music
even has the same english voice actor of Mugen doing one of the main characters from Bebop
|

haven't seen it but I bet your avatar is the dude main character! I think I'll get onto it, it's just 3AM here, still got a little time....

samurai champloo is probably in my top 10 favourite shows of all time
|
| |
that ending to Samurai Champloo is just boss, tbh I pretty much think manga anime are one the lowest
forms of cinema (almost at the same place as porn imo) and it takes a lot to get me going on them but
this one just grabbed me good

Cowboy Bebop will probably entice the same feelings.
i know how you feel, animes have to seriously be a work of art for me to appreciate it.
Champloo, Bebop, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood are my 3 favs

oh and samurai champloo is WAY better than cowboy bebop
disagree with it being WAY better but i do prefer it over Bebop. that's not to say Bebop isn't awesome
though, because it is, and i absolutely love it's OST as well. also my avatar is a character from
Bebop :p i guess i'm a bit biased haha.

It's like I wholly respect original manga's but once transcribed to anime all the art part just
becomes desperatly lazy; a good exemple for this is Berserk, the gigantic effort put into visuals,
characters and mood in the manga vanished into a frame per frame ugly overcoded anime.
Treachory! Although thankfully counter-exemples spark there and there so I'll be checking out your
Cowboys for sure

Highs 2 Lows is one of my favourites. Fantastic flow by Cise and the instrumentals is just beyond perfect.
every time i think about nujabes i get this melancholy feeling. rip man you were a true artist

highs 2 lows is one of my favourites as well.
that, latitude, kumomi, letter from yokosuka, f.i.l.o., the final view, a day by atmosphere supreme, are some of my favouirte songs ever, and blessing it is probably my favourite. every track on this is gold imo, and i can only say that of maybe 3 or 4 albums. i initially didn't care much for horn in the middle, beat laments world, summer gypsy, or peaceland, but they're some of the chillest songs here.
