mmm.. the most delicious Pantera album. I will say this though, as great as Pantera was they never made an album that was completely devoid of bad songs/filler. There were always at least a couple songs where I was left with a "meh" feeling. NOLA by Down is a better album than anything released by Pantera imo (although Down never did anything close to as good as that ever again).

oh man, you haven't heard Down yet? I would make that the next album you get, hands down. Maybe my favorite metal album from the 90s (Slaughter of the Soul is probably the only competition)

I love all Down records, but NOLA is the best. The riffs kickass, the music kicks ass, and it just all=around kicks ass.

I'd give this a 5 if I could actually hear the groove machine well - aka bass guitar.
