not as good as i remember sadly. production feels oddly flat. still a solid album and interesting experiment. i like the concept and how it flows with noisey bits and other oddities thrown in. hard to play without the full thing besides then came to kill which is still top tier chariot. forgive me nashville was always a fav of mine too.

I think my adoration in this album is from seeing them live twice in 3 months while they toured for it. The Deaf Policemen live was a spiritual experience in 2008 lmao. Also this went so against the grain of a lot of Christcore of the time. Never realized how much Josh is inspired by Coalesce/Sean Ingram until seeing them back in March

oh yeah this is definitely less traditional and experimental then the verse-chorus-verse stuff at the time. definitely interesting. some of the noisey bits i just find somewhat irritating. but a cool concept that i respect.

I love all the feedback/noise on here, such a unique atmosphere and feels very close to a live recording. Totally get digging some of the later record more though

yeah i was wondering if this was recorded live. doesn't have that same pop that bless the martyr or the chariot debut does for me though personally.
