I kinda wish "My Application To Heaven" was on this album, then I likely wouldn't need Document #5
|
| |
Maybe as a bonus because it would kill the flow.

Yes, apparently.

Yeah, I was, and still probably will, do a profile on Kurt Ballou and the incredible albums he's produced over his career.

Kurt pretty much owns the hardcore/good metalcore/screamo scene, producer wise.

It would've been so much better if he said "doodley-squat". I'd like to think that Pg. 99 read Kurt Vonnegut.

they probably do, but the quotes are the album are by Kurt Cobain actually, if I'm not mistaken. So it goes.

Oh? I assumed that was just on In Love With An Apparition, I haven't considered the others(if there are more besides that and Punk Rock in The Wrong Hands).

Live The Storm? Yeah that's a sick album. I have an immense amount of respect for Kurt both as a producer and guitar player

would be cool, make it happen

Maybe not, but I think it'd be tacky for them to sample themselves. Also, it took me until two or three years after getting the album (and after this awful review), that The List is a cover of the band Filth. n00b.

8 is a little better.
|
| |
I hear people say #14 is better and I'm just like what? thinking about 5ing this, it certainly deserves it but I don't know if I'm quite ready

I've never heard anything but 5 and 8. 5 is a great skramz record, but 8 is fucking essential to any fan of any hardcore music.
|
| |
Yeah this is in contention for my next screamo record to warrant a 5. It'll probably lose to Gospel of Funeral Diner though.

Gospel is indeed a bit better, though I still get a considerably better vibe from Document 8.
