what's your favorite? Never really dug anything as much after this. Steelbath Suicide is a ripper and might be my 2nd favorite, but Predator's Portrait fell a little flat for me, and then they shifted to that Natural Born Chaos sound.. I actually need to go back and listen to NBC though to see if I appreciate it more these days.

Hey guys btw, ever notice how early Soilwork had a lot of very loud cymbals in their drumming? I'd say it was the most defining characteristic of the sound, even (kinda like the crunchy bass was Korn's for example). It really adds to the machinery-like, industrial feeling, kind of a shame they dropped this on later albums

The rawer production on their earlier albums definitely work in their favor. Around Natural Born Chaos when they were beginning to get cleaner in production is where they lost that luster that made albums like this and Steelbath special.
