I love this album sooooooooo much. Any kind of symphonic metal touches my heart.

Nymphetamine was a killer song, one of my all time faves, but all the rest suck

Which version? The single version of Nymphetamine, or the full version?

Nymphetamine was total shit in my opinion. I heard that song and it makes me think that this is one of the worst bands around in its genre.

Jesus, Dusk and Her Embrace was much better than this. But then, it is more accessible to newer fans and its very polished. Good thing or bad? hmm

Dusk and Her Embrace is Cradle's finest hour. They went downhill after that. Although, I haven't heard Midian yet and that's supposed to be good, so idk.

Midian has extreme lowpoints plus Dani's voice is hard to listen to on that album. IMO Cruelty and The Beast is extremly underrated.

Midian is very very bad, as in quality. Too much relience on the violins and choirs, there
is almost no sign at all of black metal here. Midian was a far cry away from anything the
'Filth had done before IMO. Agree, Cruelty And The Beast was way overlooked, thats a
much better alternative to Midian, although I have to say, it was heavly over-produced!This Message Edited On 07.31.07

Over produced or not, CoF arn't going for the black metal sound anyways so it doesn't matter.

True. Its hard to define what is black metal these days, although no-one pays much attention to Dammination and A Day. That wasnt too bad. Hell, at least CoF are doing better than the 'other' band, Dimmu Borgir. Ah, commericalism.

The diffrence with Cradle Of Filth and Dimmu Borgir and that CoF don't have their heads up their asses. They actually don't submit to commercialism and if even just some are able to make much more intresting and listenable tunes. Their new stuff is equally as somewhat original as their old just a diffrent style. They will never out play true black metal bands like Leviathan and Deathspell omega but that's okay.

True, they just have their own unique style

most black metal/goth bands are underground, and thats how they will always remain. How Dani and the boys are plasted all over magazines (Pop Today, c'mon wtf?!) is beyond my knowledge

It's a little label called Roadruuner's fault.

"Nemesis" is a really good song.

Nemesis, Absinth Of Faust, Gabrielle, Nymphetamine Overdose, and Swansong For A Raven are the best off this album.
