I dont know which album you should get next. AYDY is definately good, and since you didnt love Hatebreeder then you probably wont think much more of Follow the Reaper. Id recommend Hatecrew Deathroll next and if you dont think that is solid then you probably wont like any other CoB any more.

No you really shouldnt. At all. Hatebreeder and Follow the Reaper are similar, but Follow the Reaper is still different. I highly suggest you get FTR before anything else.

Exactly. Not before Follow the Reaper. Although I rated this higher, Follow the Reaper does improve upon this album tremendously. if you like more mainstream i would recommend AYDY, but dont make another bodom purchase without getting FTR. Its that good

Haha, I think this is what makes bodom so great, the fact that everyone has a different lineup of albums, and that no one agrees with each other. If you were meant to like these guys, any album should do just fine, except maybe SW.

I actually posted a comment about it in another review of this album. I listened to this a few more times and liked BW and WW more than normal, and the other tracks I loved more than befpore, and i alrerady loved them. That made me raise this album to a 5 :D
It's still my second least favorite though (the chorus makes it a little better than WW.)

It's weird. I totally think that Follow the Reaper is better in every aspect than Hatebreeder, but I like listening to Hatebreeder more than almost any metal album... ever. This will always remain one of my sacred classic albums

I got Are You Dead Yet? and so far I like it more than this. I can't find Follow the Reaper anywhere so I opted for that instead. I'll listen to both of these to see if my opinion still holds up.

Yes, AYDY is a lot better than a lot of people say it is. But the important thing is that you are going to get something out of every album.
