Yeah, Eat Me Alive has an embarrasing chorus imo.
I saw a video of The Sentinel on Sunday, 'twas sweet.
Tbh, I think there's a big difference between Rob's vocal approach on
the 70's stuff and that on the 80's stuff. From SWoD to SC in particular,
he had a more operatic style, whereas after that his style was more
gruff and glammy. He did his job ofc, but I never was that impressed
with his vox back when I was more of an 80's Priest guy. However, after
doing what I should've done earlier and jamming the albums in full, it
just hit me like a ton of bricks. Before that, I never would've regarded
him as highly as a vocalist as I do now.
