Makes sense I guess, weird though as Neurosis are really good. You never know, seeing 'em live might ignite something special.

I didn't know anyone who disliked Neurosis cuz I never choose to know them

that's a shame to the level of banishment from a home-country

I'll admit I feel a bit of history's tug in terms of seeing the show. These bands have been together for a combined SIXTY (!) years and they've been so influential and so consistent in developing different sides of the "metal" coin...I'm trying to think of a roughly contemporaneous band I would replace with either of them were I to see a metal show purely for its historical import in terms of Telling The Tale Of a Genre--not the reason you'd see every show, but certainly a good reason to stick through one

heh, different strokes as always though. If you're not into Neurosis' style then it could be hecka boring...

"These bands have been together for a combined SIXTY (!) years"

Spiritcrusher kind of a petty criticism lol

Wish I could see either band, I got into Converge first in 2009 but neither them or Neurosis have been to FL that I know of since then.

lol I know, wasn't even worth mentioning but I couldn't resist cuz it just seemed super silly to me. completely irrelevant to his point tho, I actually agree with what he said.

Talk about overrated on all levels. People who keep voting it as a classic don't know the meaning of a classic. Iron Maiden - Powerslave, now that's a classic. Jane Doe isn't a classic by any of the means, all it is is technical metalcore (not that special). I'll admit lyrically it's intelligent, technicality of the album is superb. But come on people stop lying to yourselves there is NO and I repeat NOOOO vocal talent to even make this a classic at all. All it is RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH for 45:22. Tbh the vocals made the album shit, and they're worse than the guy in Doomthrone and their horrible debut.
