Still not entirely sure how I feel about this on the whole, but I can say confidently that I like it more than anything else they've done. That song Body Behavior, though. That's a fuckin' masterpiece.

oof hard disagree man, Garden Route is by far the worst track here and I also think the album would be better without it.
I really love Body Behavior. Someone said it way earlier but it’s like if a black metal band tried to write a pop punk anthem and I really agree with that. It’s very unique for these guys and just unique in general. It’s not my favorite song here but I don’t think I’ve really heard anything quite like it.

Also, I know most of us throw a lot of praise toward the drummer here, but his fills around the 2:00 minute mark on that track are wild.
I’m not a drummer, so maybe I’m a little out of my lane, but he got very creative on that song imo
And I’ve talked a lot of shit about Garden Route, but it’s still like a solid 3-3.5/5 song. It’s just the rest of this album is on another level so that one really sticks out to me

Could be. Maybe I'll just never quite be on board with these dudes. If they could find a way to match the first two minutes of New Bermuda over the course of an album I'd be very interested. But they've yet to show that they can do it at all.
