but yeah, i just find the compositions n musicanship on here nothing short of brilliant. sure the vocals can be kinda off but i think they fit the album pretty well. So much weirdness on this album but it all blends together so well in one huge, surreal, shroom-induced fantasy trip.

That's an understatement. The vocals in Madrid's Gift of Art are the worst vocals I've ever heard ever.

the vocals and lyrics give off a real emocore vibe to me, so i can completely understand people who aren't into that stuff hating them. I think they're pretty great and emotional though. Unique. though i admit that part in Madrid'sis a little grating, but i got over it eventually

do you think you'd enjoy this more if there were no (or better) vox? The music is amazing, I don't see how anyone could have qualms with it tbh. unless they dont like heavy music.

I find the slower bits to be really damn good (Blue Ghost is amazing blah blah) but the metal bits really bore me, the riffing in particular is zzzzzzz
I don't really have an issue with the vox though, they're not really great or anything but I think they sound pretty enough

theyre used pretty sparingly i think, the metal riffs. and they're good to bridge the gaps in between some of the cleaner spots. plus the guitar solos that pop up during them are fucking GODLY
i'm really falling for this band.
