Welfare leeching is something many anti-capitalists do, specially anarquists. He is anti-civilization so it goes with his discourse. Also he grows his own food and hunts so he is kind of a 'Captain Fantastic' in that regard. Does living like that make someone a loser?... I'm not really sure tbh. I've been to certain hippie, off-grid communities who try to live like that and it's pretty interesting. I would recommend Derrick Jensen and John Zerzan books at this point but it's a pretty complex topic and I'm aware very few people have the time or the energy to engage in a serious discussion about this. Anyway, that doesn't make him a loser in my eyes at all.

Being lazy leeches is not his main point against immigration or other ethnics. His core message is basically ethnic-nationalism and odalism. In his own words: "I want to preserve my own heritage, blood and land". That has nothing to do other races being lazy, but with a certain type of pride or cultural ultra-conservatism. Problem is that type of ideas slip very easily into racism. Take for example a video he made showing how everyone in his family is blonde with blue eyes, titled "Their worst nightmare". He thinks there is a conspiracy to remove "his people" from the earth. That is one of the main issues I have with this type of ideas. Hair, skin or eyes color defining "your people" is absolutely dumb. At the same time it's funny cause he hates the jewish ethnicity yet apparently doesn't know that many jewish people from northern europe look exactly like that, blonde and blue eyes. I could ridicule him with a simple test pretty fast.

idk why you are trying to be good faith to his clearly outwardly and explicitly racist views. i'm pretty sure varg would say he is a racist himself, his ideas don't slip into racism, they are racist. if you think varg isn't a deeply racist dude i got a bridge to sell ya. i can go to his twitter and find at least 20 examples of him spewing racist shit in a clearly hateful way not based on any deep principles. i have better uses of my time though.

Oh he is a racist. I'm not denying that at all dude. I was pointing out his core message wasn't blatant racism until a few years ago. Ethno-nationalism on theory is not racist, but it can degenerate into racism pretty fast. I'm not a fan of ethno-nationalism anyway. I think nations are a geopolitical construct to achieve power. I think on other terms, I'd rather have values like empathy and good faith communication than power or empires, but sadly the world will never work that way (yeah I'm a pessimist).
