I think Bilmuri did a far better job than this at being corny with the poppy sound

What more is there to say?
Their early music was good, challenging, and direct...but it was lacking creativity and a real sense of pride/power. They were heating up a little bit when they released Sempiternal, but That's the Spirit catapulted them into absolute world stardom. And even though I absolutely love Amo, That's the Spirit was there mangum opus and I don't think a record like that can ever be re-created. So many bands are covering those tunes, too, from that record. Amo was a little bit of a regression but it's still better than anything pre-That's the Spirit.

I still have a hard time getting into that record. The only standout for me was the t/t, and maybe the chorus for Nobody Can Save Me
