Don't get me wrong, TOCS has good songs, but it has some tracks that I can't enjoy at all, also this is the poppiest effort of this band , for me their works with dallas taylor and everything since Define the great line is far better than TOCS.

The songwriting and vocals aren't cheesy. Idk about the lyrics it's been a long time since I read them. Don't really listen to this either, but I know it doesn't sound cheesy at all. If I listen to this band it's Disambiguation, or They're Only Chasing, or The Changing of Times.

TOCS isn't corny, it's just really poppy. It may be too immature for some people, I don't really like it that much because I didn't even get into the band until a year after high school and didn't hear TOSC till like 6 months ago so and it still hasn't resonated much with me.
