Actually, prog is generally looked down upon and linked to noodling, wankery, pointlessly long songs, and a general lack of emotion. It's very rare that a prog metal band is mostly accepted as not just good but great.
The more you talk, the more everyone can see that you don't know what you're talking about.

You're simplifying my statement. That's not what I said at all. I am surprised that someone who DOESN'T hate metal would rate this so low as it is a prime example of many things that are good about metal.

to LPFTW: When I say silly metal 80's stuff i mean thrash cause glam isn't metal IMO and by silly just look at the song titles. The fantastical stuff that I can't relate to or find meaning to anything to do with my real life. (although LCD is about technology addiction which is cool i guess) it's a preference thing.
to Portal: I didn't just choose a random album to shitpost on. This is rated as one of the BEST albums of all time by a large number of people and I'm genuinely intrigued by WHY. I'm just trying to spark some discussion for my own self, i guess that pisses people off a bit but whatever lol
