One thing I dont get is why people hate on metal bands for having cleans. Since when is it a pre-requisite to be all cookie monsta all the time? Maybe some of the clean choruses here are predictable, but at least they add another dynamic than if all they did was bark. Its much more interesting to me when a band mixes it up.
In fact when the fuck is metal going to move away from the whole barking thing in general because thats become more predictable than the cleans now. Keep the no talent cookie monstas in death metal where they belong.

Personally clean vox almost never annoy me. And they are welcomed in most bands and add a lot if they are good. However I wouldn't want cleans in Meshuggah

Well I think Meshuggah could benefit from some slightly more dynamic vocals. Not AILD cleans or anything but Jens is so one dimensional. Still love Meshuggah but Jens is the one thing keeping them from really taking off even more than they have. At least you can understand what hes saying most of the time though.
