It's one of the most important albums for me as a musician and music listener. It pretty much defined my entire senior year of high school

My only problem with this is that the closer feels kinda outta place here. The extra (like the wheel) should have taken its place. But now I’m just nitpicking...

this is my favourite album of all time. this was absolutely the soundtrack to the last few years of high school for me, riding along the beach in summer listening to this and beach house’s teen dream on repeat haha

yeah HBFS, this and Teen Dream were huge for 12 year old me. 2009-2010 are two of my favourite years for music and I don't think it's just cause of nostalgia (although that's certainly a factor)

@radiosuicide that's a good call, i should probably do the same!

@colton damn you had some good taste when you were 12 pal. I wish I listened to music like that when I was 12 haha. Took me to 15 to fully start researching and properly getting obsessed with music. But I still and always will remember the first time I put the wild hunt on in my earphones and got the biggest shivers i've ever had from a song in my life from his voice in that first verse. what a beautiful thing

Burden Of Tomorrow may very well be the best folk song ever written. just so completely timeless and perfect

if it's not the best folk song ever written, the instrumental part from 2:35 to 2:58 is the best rhythm guitar recording of all time, that's just indisputable
