Miss Machine is right behind this album.
I'd put CI last, I don't know I just never found it to be that great.

43% Burnt alone is enough to warrant a 4 rating on it

i love calculating. the only album of theirs i dont like is Ire Works.

Ire Works has grown on me with time. There really isn't a bad track on it, it's just a bit out there.

CI and Irony then this album. MM is right behind this then of course IW

Irony's pretty cool, but I don't like it as much as most seem to. as far as EPs go, I actually prefer Under the Running Board

So then you have three 5's just for DEP.

The "Paranoid" cover on that EP is really cool with the big band breakdown.
|
| |
id say half of IW is comprised of "bad tracks" but that's just because I don't like Faith No More so why would i want to hear someone emulate them.

Parasitic Twins on this is basically a FNM cover -- sounds just like Stripsearch
|
| |
I get way more of a NIN vibe from that.

Greg's vocals are obviously influenced by Trent and Mike.

yeah I can see that too, because Stripsearch is kind of like FNM doing a NIN impression

This album has the Most Mike influence if you ask me.
|
| |
but i think its more of the brooding experimental patton side which trent reznor does better anyways so the interesting parts on this remind me a lot of Downward Spiral and The Fragile more so than anything from FNM

I think FNM is generally overrated though they're still a great band. NIN has always been one of my favorites though, especially TDS and The Fragile.
|
| |
the only thing with patton that i listen to on a regular basis that isnt Irony is a Dead Scene is Tomahawk
|
| |
reznor is a hack that did nothing but dilute industrial to make it more palatable for a wider audience
