Yeh I remember my bud telling me about this band from China and they said it had a sound unlike any other. I heard guitars before, but they really channel the energy of late night burrito chili dogs here, it’s crazy how underground they are. I heard they don’t own toilets. Literally only the gangsta streets knew about them, I had to pay a street dealer $100 just for a rumour of their existence

I think this band is rather average, but the song and video for "I will not Bow" is bad ass. I feel like Beavis and Butthead would have gave it some due. Now I have to play it to satisfy my primal urges or something huh huh huh.

Band is perfectly average because every other album is a misfire. Saturate, Phobia and DBD are peak BB and the other three are like their respective evil twins.

If the trend continues, the next album should be competent and it better be their last.

Like, half of this is filler and on DBD I'd only kick out Great Divide and Never Again. WANA doesn't work for me in general (it's like Saturate but worse) and Ember has strong songwriting, but tiresome vocal production.

DBD has one good song imo, hallow. over the years this has proven to be the strongest release of theirs.

Y'know, each time I roast a record in the comments I feel inclined to double-check my opinion. And I can confirm, everything between Give Me a Sign and Dear Agony could be safely kicked out, though this album peaks higher. On the other hand, on DBD I get:

a) more variety (unbelievable in this band's case),

b) a greater sense of heaviness,

c) Ben's stupid lyrics sounding far less jarring (sorry, I just can't overlook this graphomaniac nonsense).

@FrozenFirebug first half is right tho, about all their songs are really 1 song in not-so-many variants.
