thats funny, I love how diverse opinions are.... Pendulous Skin, Siberian Divide and This Mortal Soil are 3 of my favourite Mastodon songs. I really enjoy the progressive elements of those songs, and I think the song structuring and flow on those tracks are certainly superior to most of the material found on Crack the Skye.

All their previous albums are great and nice 'n' heavy, but Crack the Skye was something different. It's an epic album, though I do not like the score it has been given I'm still mature enough to respect other people's opinion's
