"i don't not like the length of this i just dunt think it's as good with less gilmour"

I agree. Being a guitar guy, I always want to hear more Gilmour. But this album has sentimental value for me, so it's still a classic in my eyes.

I just reckon it needs more of those sexy Gilmour vocals, his guitar is still very much present

@CosmicPie truth but the vocals are the MAIN thing that I wanted more of, HIS VOICE IS JUST SO GOOD

@Mongi You won't regret it

Word. He just feels more distant on this album.

^^^ Because he was barely involved in the writing process and didn't care for the direction Waters was going in

Now that you think of it the guitar is kinda a little more distant than usual. I don't normally look for anything in particular but I usually like everything to stand alone. Like the bass really popping and evolved drumming.

How exactly does drumming become "evolved" lol

Yea, the guitar work is great, but you can tell he's more detached. I would've liked more guitar work, more singing, and more involvement in the concept.

FUCK "involved" second typo in a row lol

Yea I'm just talking in general with my music. Rhythm really isn't the point of PF though.

Mason never blew me away, but he was a really solid drummer and he just fit in.

Yeah he's a solid backbone he was just never exceptional

Also he's responsible for the worst Floyd song ever, "The Grand Vizier's Garden Party"
