idk im just rly not into most melodeath...this is the only album ive heard in the genre (granted i havent heard too many) that doesnt sound cheesy af to me

This sounds heavier than most of the Swedish stuff, like DM with a melodic twist rather than it being watered down to the point of it being completely unrecognisable from the non-melodic variety. I get that and it’s definitely one of my favourites.
I really need to check some of the more harder bands in the genre.
