"it's been eleven years since I went to one or two shows weekly but back then they were usually some type of metal or hardcore but you guys can't pretend hardcore shows are more prevalent now than they used to be. the eighties and nineties and 2000s would have been the best time for hardcore shows."
simply reiterating if you go to hardcore punk and metal shows for bands within the less mainstream metal scene, youll see jane doe shirts everywhere. Ive gone to shows with friends who like crap metalcore and im not a fan and ill still see jane doe shirts there

I'm glad we have such a lively bunch for this tour. FullofSounds, I need you to stop trying to escape the tour bus while we are driving. If you want out you will have to wait until our next stop, which is not close to coming yet.

misfits shirts are common anywhere though. converge shirts aren't. it's misfits. not the misfits. misfits were hardcore, not just punk. misfits shits were just as common if not more than converge shirts at hardcore shows.

Hardcore and metal wardrobe is usually a barrage of different variations of black shirt, white design. I usually just don't end up wearing band merch to shows.

having a rule to always wear band shirts to shows or having a rule to never wear band shirts to shows. equally silly if you ask me but i'm just your tour guide so what would I know

yeah but dude i'm talking like bad religion and nofx shows and what not. they were disproportionately popular there.
also i wasn't calling them "The Misfits," i was referring to "the Misfits shirts." i like to use definite articles when i type. weird habit i picked up.

i'm just trying to put out as much information out there as I can. being a music tour guide is stressful because I know you all already educate yourselves. I have to be on top of my game!

It's not a hard rule or anything, I just wear whatever I put on in the morning that day, which isn't normally band affiliated.

i don't really wear band shirts anymore because adulthood. wearing band shirts in your 30s is a gateway to being that middle aged guy at the end of the bar with a ponytail who tries striking up conversation with total strangers and creeps out every girl in a 20 ft radius.

Right? It would suck to be the balding grind guy at the bar with camo cargo shorts, skate shoes, and the Insect Warfare shirt.
