@hawks i dont do it for any others admittedly lol but i also dont pay for streaming anyway so might as well directly support a band i actively care about vs streamings payouts which do not distribute fairly and collectively are essentially spread out to every artist, not just the ones you stream individually (a model that just ends up disproportionally favoring the biggest biggest names which structurally i dont feel great about given how abysmal everybodys profits outside of that group are)
this band is getting bigger than before regardless but its def a smart move to do this
