It was a reaction to this statement about this: "It's hypnotic the way that they use repetition, rhythm and the subtle tempo changes." Which fits Spiderland quite well, admittedly.

I've never hated Tool. Didn't get em for sure, but I'm this close to hating this thing haha. What a painful, uneventful slog. Ya make me wait 10 plus minutes to show me some distortion. Yippee do. 7empest saves it a bit cause it has some gripping energy but the rest of this is pretty much worthless.
