I really hate cleans like this in most stuff similar to this album but it just really doesn't bother me here

"he's probably the best clean singer that plays drums in these types of bands. "

That really is a narrow list though.

I don't actually think that's true... I know Atreyu and FATA off the top of my head but there were other ones.

Saw Underoath for the last time ever on Wednesday, with As Cities Burn and Mewithoutyou. Show was so good. I felt so young and they played so much old stuff.

Yeah dude, I was thinking about it when they were playing Reinventing Your Exit and I was like, holy shit, I've been seeing this band live for like 10 years and loving it every time and I got really emo haha.

I stayed out of the pit for them. The venue it was at just has notoriously horrible push pits and I wanted to be able to enjoy the last performance I'd ever see by them.

Is this the first release where the singer's vocals aren't fucking terrible? I haven't listened to TOCS.

TOCS is the worst underoath LP in my opinion, I prefer cries of the past or the changing of times. Anyways, this album rules.

The vocals are really good for the most part on every Underoath release.

The old singer's lows were kinda bad, but he didn't do them that often.

And to be fair, They're Only Chasing Safety is so cheesy, and the lyrical content is downright atrocious, but that album is so freaking catchy. I'm probably biased because of who I was at the time that album came out.
