"You mean how they are 3 times as loud as everything else and drown out all other instruments/vocals when he's doing ridiculous blastbeats through 70% of every track?"

whatre you listening to the album on? the snare drum drowns everything out on my standard computer speakers but on my headphones the album sounded pretty great.

kinda the same for me, my car stereo is all kick and snare but my hi-fi at home sounds really balanced and the mix sounds fine tbh.

if you have an issue with the mix and the way the instruments sound fundamentally then the vinyl won't change your mind yeah

idk how you could listen to an album like this in a car, you must have a very quiet car and awesome speakers.

My car isn't quiet at all, i just turn the volume up till it sounds like i'm driving through he middle of a vortex of some kind.

sounds awesome, i try to preserve my hearing though. i generally play less intricate stuff in the car. easier to hear whats going on so i dont have to blast it too loud. plus i see albums like this as something to experience when im sitting at home and have time to listen to the whole thing and absorb it fully. its not a "car album" so to speak, for me.

Yeah i get that, i am more aware of my hearing myself these days when i was younger i just played everything as loud as i could. I'm like that with what i listen to at the gym, i always end up playing relativley simple stuff as anything that requires more in depth listening is a distraction.

I've still got perfect hearing, and I plan to keep it that way no matter how much I like Paysage at 90 decibals.
