I sometimes wonder if we'll ever get this kind of quirky and just incredibly good indie rock ever again. I'm not counting on it.

The way the music business looks now and seeing the shit that’s popular now (especially among teens), it’s a bleak outlook. But who knows? Rock could have another resurgence if the right band comes along at the right time.
God, I miss the 90s. So many great rock bands.

don't think we will see an indie rock album as good as this in our lifetimes

Always doom and gloom with you folk.
I'm late, but: be proactive and search for new indie.
Like you're supposed to do.
You guys just trust Apple Music and Spotify to recommend you 2020 deep cuts or something?
Not gonna happen.

Bandcamp is a gift to artists. I check in on new stuff on a monthly basis, at least. And that's only one source.

Sandwich comin in spittin facts, if indie rock dies it will be because we let corporate streaming platforms kill it
@mars agree 100%, I probably spend more on Bandcamp downloads than I do on all my other non-essential expenses combined

I'm always looking for new music, and while I don't find a lot of new music I like I do find some. I just don't find music quite like this. Well, I say that but maybe I've heard an album/band or two that come to mind. But I don't any of it will ever have anywhere near the popularity of this which is fine but just sad as a reflection of society.

Bankrupt on Selling is unbelievably deep. Then you look through the tracklist and realise that it's a miracle you're not emotionally exhausted after listening to the whole thing in one sitting.

Speak for yourself, this album puts me through the wringer each and every time

For real, what in the Hell are you talking about not emotionally exhausted by the album with Trailer Trash

Truckers Atlas came on my playlist shuffle yesterday and my toddler (21 mo. old) started dancing to it (or his version of "dancing" anyway) which is both frightening and amazing. Weird flex but okay.

This is one of those albums I will catch one song on shuffle or something and then I end up listening to the whole thing start to finish.
Those opening guitar chords of Teeth Like God's Shoeshine remind me so dearly of how much I loved this album in high school (and still do today).
It's one of the few that have withstood the test of time.
