Except you painted it as though she was demeaning fans and there isn't a hint of it in the letter, I think its fair to criticize labels and the deals they make with stream providers.

It doesn't matter whether you or I believe her statements are genuine or not, since in this particular example it leads to a net positive for other artists.

she's attacking apple music for not paying artists for music played during the 3 months trial period. this is really on a level equal to her as it is the small artist. it's about pay all across the board, and she's just hiding behind the facade of the "young songwriter". besides, no artist should depend on streaming services for a debt-erasing or life-dependent profit. that's just unrealistic

...and customers will realized that the companies are fucking them and hold Apple accountable if that does end up being the case since there was attention drawn to this.

Without Taylor commenting on it, I doubt most would have known the structure of the trial period.

Customers are not getting fucked though. And young upcoming Artist have profited from free streaming more that anyone lese because it removes the Barrier of entry. Many of the niche artists got recognized because people can check stuff for Free. Super well known popstars loose money though. So i still think her Robin swift Stick is bs.

Well this isn't the only site I've seen this brought up, so the story at least has some traction in the music sphere, people don't care about most shit anyway, doesn't mean we shouldn't address it.

Of course Taylor benefits, but I don't think it boils down to solely greed on her end, and even if you want to read the worst of people, other artists are at least gonna be compensated from her perceived greed.

I thought I had an apathetic world view, but I guess not.

Sorry for typos writing from my Phone. And it tries to auto-correct stuff into german

It's not a question of World view. The Superstars are the ones who suffer from streaming. The upcoming and niche artists are mostly profiting because people wouldnt even Check the out

ehhh it really doesn't deserve any sort of addressing as no one here has any input strength

So we shouldn't discuss industry norms as we have no perceived input?

The consumer always has an input, this is a business after all, if a product doesn't sell they have to go back to the drawing board.

Single version of Bad Blood is blah though, don't see why she didn't just release the album version.

When I think of Taylor Swift’s latest album, 1989, one thing pops into my head. Taylor Swift is freaking awesome. The songs on 1989 are so unique, just like their one-of-a-kind artist, Taylor. Being born on a Christmas tree farm in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, she has sure come a long way.

Taylor Alison Swift was born December 13th, 1989 at 5:17 AM. At age 11, she was taught to play guitar by a computer repairman. She started singing, and eventually moved to Nashville, and soon after, her career as a country artist shot off with her first hit single, Tim McGraw. 5 entire albums later, Taylor brought us 1989. When she put out this CD, it was obvious that she was meant to be a pop star.

Her first song in this album, Welcome to New York, she welcomes us to the big city and says “It’s been waiting for you”. It’s so catchy that you will have it stuck in your head for a week straight. Do I even need to mention the song where she tells us that “the haters gonna hate”? If you’ve never heard Shake it off, you must live under a rock. This song is one that will get you on your feet and dancing. Taylor shows off her “bad girl” side, singing “Band-Aids don’t fix bullet holes” in her killer song Bad Blood. And don’t forget about Blank Space, where Taylor describes herself as a “Nightmare dressed like a Daydream”.

1989 is surely Taylor’s best album. I definitely recommend 1989 to… pretty much everyone. You will not regret getting it.

Amusing is one way to describe Taylor's newest album.

Taylor Swifts new hit “1989” with all the best songs.

One song called “Blank Space” she sings about guys and how crazy she is about them.

Here is a line from the song “I have a long list of X lovers they’ll tell you I'm insane, but I've got a blank space baby and I'll write you name”

After listening to some of her songs, I would have to explain them in short words are happy, interested, and also scared.

For this album “1989” I would rate it a 9 most songs are good such as “ Blank Space”,

“Bad Blood” and two or three more are good others not so much. Still they are good.

Sea Sick, that’s how the album 1989 makes me feel. Taylor Swift, some people consider her to be a really good artist. But her old tracks are better and less annoying than her modern tracks like 1989. She started her career as a country singer then transitioned to pop and pop rock and it made some people mad and made other people happier.

Taylor originated in Pennsylvania and moved to Wyoming where she started her music at age 5 and at 16 she released her songs and got a top seller on one of her albums “fearless”. She started getting very well known at this point.

The songs included in this track is Blank Space, Style, Shake it off, Bad Blood, Welcome to New York, All you had to do was stay etc. I find most of these songs annoying and offensive in some parts of the song I find one line specify really offence like “Boys only want love if it’s torture”. Because she writes her music toward girls. Boys I know really don’t like her songs or get offended like me.

All in all Taylor's most modern album is in my opinion the worst she's ever made I hope in the future she will write something better and less annoying than her modern tracks something that will WOW!
