I'm not huge on rap rock either and I'm glad they diversified their sound after the first two albums to move away from the nu-metal style.



Having said that, the riff is too good on that song to dismiss, get it stuck in my head all the time lol

And idk how intentional it is but I love how close the intro to Lotion is to the intro of BQAD. I trick my girlfriend from time to time, she thinks she’s about to hear her favorite Deftones song and then it’s just chino yelling for five minutes.
