I don't hate it but it's probably my least favorite song on the record, and the band, besides maybe Creature Comfort.

I just picture it being like a lame 70’s game show’s theme song and the mental image makes me cringe. The song alone makes me cringe as well.

It may be weird to say but Electric Blue is among my favorite songs that aren’t on here or Funeral. It’s just so good, especially considering Sprawl II isn’t among my favorites. If there’s was one song they just nailed it, it’s that one.

Electric Blue is atrocious. What is she doing in the refrain?

Ehh first time I heard it I felt the same but all the singles had a “na-na-na” aspect to them. It grows. Seems to me that it’s one of the songs that seems to get better while the majority get worse. The bridge through the outro repetition is so entrancing and hypnotic to me. Pretty sure I’ve decided it’s my favorite on the new album.

Well... i really really like 'we don't deserve love'.. it just hits some string on me.. favorite one on the new cd.. but the filler content on that album is a major letdown.

Electric Blue is good I just wish she didn't sound so shrill. No way is it better than Sprawl II, that's one of their best songs.

I love how the Boston Globe gave it a 30 and said their best tracks on the new album are Electric Blue, We Don’t Deserve Love, and Put Your Money on Me cuz those are the only 3 I thought stood out and I’m considering bumping it down to a 1.5 cuz the rest is such trash. Their review was like tapping into my brain (besides throwing a punch at Reflektor and calling The Suburbs the best)

There's quite a bit of hate-listening pleasure to be had with the new one, earns them a 0.5 above a 1 for me. "Creature Comfort" is irritatingly catchy and most of the rest is amusingly bad. Definitely the worst album of the year though whichever way you slice it.

All of their first three are better than this by a pretty big margin but imo those three aren't too far in quality from one another.

Also 5.6 from Pitchfork. I said it’d be 5-something. Killing it.
