they were some fuckin every day lads from liverpool with a bit of charisma and willingness to jam, they evolved together as time went on and the evolution of their music given the time they existed is quite remarkable

Their character is timeless. Some of the later interviews are funny as fuck. There's one where John and Paul are being questioned about taking LSD and John dryly throws in something about manufacturing it by '67.

I've never heard it. My parents had never heard it and they grew up during beatlemania. Literally everyone I've ever heard talk about him only has glowingly amazing things to say about him.
