It'd be pretty damn hard to find a singer to replace Cornell. The only guy I can think off with the range off the top of my head is Myles Kennedy.

At some point they'll want to tour and possibly even record. Cornell passing doesn't mean the rest of the band has to retire the Soundgarden catalog. They should probably do it the way Queen did with Paul Rodgers or Adam Lambert.
