"Murder" and "On Account of an Absence" are the low point of the album to me. I can't get into these songs no matter how many times I listen to them. To me, they're just the barrier before the amazing album enders.

Yeah, I understand that. It's some of the lyrics and vocal delivery in those tracks that I don't like compared to every other song. Can't remember which song it is but the lyric is "All your tears aren't gonna wash this one away" He says it once, but then he repeats it slightly louder, with different tone like he's putting it in italics to emphasize it. Like, just in case you didn't hear it the first time, here it is again! Just sounds cheesy to me. That one, and the other one from I think "Murder" that goes "Sometimes I feel like I'm waiting for something to jump.out.at. ME"
