"Megalomania, Symptom of the Universe, Thrill of It All, Hole in the Sky and The Writ say otherwise"

Exactly. I'd even add The Writ since its first half is perfection

EDIT: lolwut I can swear The Writ wasn't on the ones you mentioned haha

"Sabotage might be my favourite these days tbh, even edging out SBS."

SBS Paranoid and Master Of Reality are the best Sabbath albums in my opinion.

it doesn't have to be heavy to be good, even if it is Sabbath

I just think sabbath sounds better when they're closer to blue cheer and not the beatles

Sabotage brings back some of the doom elements that SBS ditched for cocaine and glitter. SBS is still great of course

Heaven and hell is great too but if it's someone's favorite sabbath I can't help but assume they probably think stratovarius and edguy are better than slayer

Man sabbath rules

Years ago I knew some loser punk rock guy on the Internet, this dude was one of those "blink-182 and NOFX changed my life, led Zeppelin is sexist and they stole from the black man, im too depressed to work can I get a welfare check? Jack Kerouac is my hero" types that I'm sure you've encountered at college campuses or at a built to spill concert. This guy hated metal, thought it was "pretentious" "sexist" etc and even this little wimp loved fuckin sabbath. Only paranoid and MOR but even he could not deny
