We need to bring back more random tours like there were in the mid 2000s

no every band has to sound like a slightly worse version of the headliner

"Most random tour I ever went to was these guys touring for this, Ion Dissonance and Bury Your Dead. Pretty sure it was BMTH's 2nd US tour ever lol"

I was at that tour too but skipped Thursday cuz they lacked breakdowns (I was 16-17 lol). Luckily got to see them play Full Collapse w Underoath at another time

Man it's always amusing to see a band with an album like THIS in their discography and one of the primary tags be pop rock, lol

damn that's brutal. i remember seeing touche amore and la dispute open for envy and wanting to leave before envy went on cuz it was a long drive and we were seeing them again the next night, but after witnessing all the people walk towards the door we felt bad and stayed

damn lmao i mean i get ya i def dont always stay for the headliner if they werent my main draw but sometimes its so jarring and sad watching the crowd filter out. had that happen when i saw glassjaw open for the used (but tbf obviously that was gonna happen lmao)

but yeah its why they look back on the years leading up to common existence so negatively (unfort as that album majorly whips). makes me glad that theyre generally pretty well respected nowadays

now that i think about it, dipping out before the headliner happened quite a bit lol. i remember devil driver headlined 09 thrash and burn (periphery, oceano, for the fallen dreams, veil of maya, mychildren mybride, despised icon, and emmure) and literally 90% of the venue left lmfao

I feel like a lot of bands headlined just because they were older than the other bands.
