I’ve been listening to Mark Hollis’s solo album since his passing and I have to say while it’s great it really doesn’t touch this and SoE. These two are just total masterpieces plain and simple.
Still gotta get to Colour of Spring though.

It’s one of those tracks I lay down, turn all the lights off and just drift away peacefully. It’s amazing and surprisingly flies by for how long it is.

Neeka fwiw it probably took 20+ spins for this to really hit me. Tracks like “Myrrhman” and “New Grass” were relatively immediate but it wasn’t until I’d had time to really dig into every little detail that I was fully convinced.
