According to Wikipedia, PT has had 2 drummers: Maitland and Harrison.

How would you guys compare their styles?

Maitland was a lot more restrained and added more to the atmosphere of the band, he also did some great backing vocals that harmonised with Steven.

Harrison on the other hand is a technical machine but doesn't have the same restraint that Maitland had.

If you ask me Maitland is superior

I think Harrison's is more focused & less jammy. Both rule though. Maitland lays down some cool as sheit in Stupid Dream.

Harrison is tighter and more technical and just generally seems to play more interesting stuff.

I love "The Sound of Muzak", such a fantastic song. I had forgotten all about it tbh. Until now.

Yep, basslines are wicked. Listening to "The Creator Has A Mastertape".

'Sound of Muzak' is the perfect song for me. Complex without being overly technical, great melodies, great harmonies, great guitar solo...even the lyrics are pretty damn good.

Gravity Eyelids goes for a bit longer than it should imo but it's still lovely, them layered melodies

I'm a sucker for the sound of that track. Very ethereal.
