Pretty sure I have it at a 3.5. I've always enjoyed Ashes and The White more, both of which are
excellent. The Mantle just never clicked with me like the others for some reason. Haven't heard it in
a year though, so might need another spin to see what happens.

This is a hell of a fight. Bergtatt and The Mantle are two of the best (or just the best) atmospheric folk/black (whatever!) album. Bergtatt have more speed and a bit more occult atmosphere. On the other hand The mantle has a great atmosphere with the fantastic use of classic guitars and the changes between clean and harsh vocals + the longest duration of the album. I can't choose.. :D
