Sowing Season has always been my favourite track, though I usually listen to the record in one sitting when I can, the whole thing has a great cohesive feel and the tracks really compliment one another in my opinion

I went through a period of listening to this a lot but it never reached a 5 for me. Probably should revisit it soon

relistening rn

don't listen to this often, I'm afraid I might wear out its GOAT status

but fuck it, if it hasn't happened in 7 years, it probably won't now

I had this at a 5 for quite a while based on the impact it had on me when it came out and the following 5 years or so. Dropped it down to a 4.5 after a while because it seems more nostalgic to me than perfect, even though I will contend that it has held up pretty damn well. If any of that makes sense.

In the back of my head I know some of this isn't perfect (most flow-wise in the second half) but it's rare in that it's been so engrained in my head since I first heard it that I can't think about it objectively. This album is like, part of me more than any other album I've ever heard.

That probably sounded cheesy as all hell, but I can't think of a better way to describe it. Everybody's probably got some record like that to them
