Sorry you had to deal with that. My partner used to battle Borderline Personality Disorder in the early days of our relationship before seeking treatment through cognitive behavioural therapy. Today our son turned two weeks old. Personality disorders gotta be dealt with or that shit will swallow you whole. Keep your head up champ!

well it’s dealt with, and I hate to be like ableist or whatever but I will not be dating anyone with BPD again. Hell, I’m bipolar, I get what it’s like to not think rationally all the time, but Jesus fuck no one has made me feel shittier in my life. Together for almost a year and she treated me like I was just some asshole who she dated for a couple of weeks.
ugh

I thought every dude went through a chick with BPD, it's kind of like an initiation of sorts

I got burned out quick and not seeing seeing myself coming back to it as much as other albums that came out this year.
It is a good solid album but, a little overhyped.

Album still going hard. Locked Club is so fucking good. Madonna is still my favorite track here.

Yeah I'm sure in about a year everyone will turn on it and shit all over it like what happened to Ohms lol

Ohms came in at a 3.0 and stayed that way for me. I really can't get into it years later but I recognize it's still a good album. I'd be interested to know which users loved Ohms and were disappointed by private music and vice versa.

Ohms sounds so much more dynamic, fuller and has more character
This has some real good songs but they sound so flat that the verses and choruses sound samey to me for some reason. Still really likte it tho but it really holds this record back

This is better than Ohms for me, but both are disappointing imo.

I'm getting Ohms a shot right now. Genesis and Ceremony are pretty great (Genesis is a classic Deftones opener). Urantia is forgettable and Error just has Moreno struggling to sing in key and exposes his weaknesses without employing a lot of vocal effects. It closes well enough with Moreno's vocals getting the locked club/infinite source treatment.
But already I'm sort of "meh" on the album 4-ish songs in. Spell of Mathematics thankfully rights the ship a bit but I'm remembering again why I hopped off Ohms so quickly. It is warmer in places and is more dynamic. But, to me, it's dynamic in the sense that there are some really great songs that standout (Genesis, This Link is Dead, and Ohms) and some real snoozers (Error, Pompeji, and Urantia).
