i think i like this more than erra's self titled but i almost feel like i need the dust to settle and the luster of newness to be gone to fully say that. this is j a bit more consistent and feels like a more cohesive body of work, where erra has some small moments that dont necessarily hold up to the sprawlingness that is the rest of that immaculate breathtaking record (fadeout of scorpion hymn, SMALL BLACK SCREENS, rlly just those two lol but)
that vanish canvas - eidolon - remnant run is probably still the peak of either album tho. unreal run
