I've never met anyone IRL who likes them, including school days that's probably a couple of hundred people sample. Not the greatest collection of musical opinions ever I'll admit but still.
Anyway, I have this a 2.5 which is miles from a 1/5 and says I do enjoy some of their stuff a fair bit. Live and let live. Meat is murder. There is a light that never goes out, etc etc

I totally get someone 5'ing this, it's one of the ultimate cult albums, if it hits your sweet spot it'll be a classic.
It's just more niche than you'd guess if you only read the internet is all I'm saying.

I have a little problem with Morrissey's voice too, but it is starting to change, and it seem that i'm aprecciating his voice more and more by little steps.
but marr's guitars are incredible
