Going "pop" is totally justified in my opinion. But this left a bad taste in my mouth. Like they were trying hard to recreate so many popular sounds into one album, and none of it really worked for me. I like BMTH, but this sounds like a poor man's Ed Sheeran/Oasis/Linkin Park/Justin Bieber all in one.
