I’ll be honest, haven’t listened yet, although I’m hyped cause it’s my favorite of his projects. With half being demos, it might just be a collection of b-sides honestly.

idk I gave this a few spins back new release and it didn't do much but that was also back when I was morally opposed to anything with an emo tag (yeah I now get this is barely if at all emo but they have the tag here regardless) and I was also a bit more of a Doof crony at the time and he didn't like this lol. I do remember genuinely feeling it was a bit monotonous and sappy though.

It's a strange one because I do understand that, Boney. I really love this album, but the music almost feels a little suffocated at points. I much prefer how Simple Math sounds and I still stand by that as the better album.

Simple Math is great and maybe the better album but I feel like it has this sort of corniness to it that can be mildly offputting, which is weird because this album isn't any less packed with those big, epic arrangements
