especially Connector and Kuroi Ledge. Like seriously how did they come up with all that?

Connector is both musically incredible, lyrically powerful and structurally cohesive
I would honestly put it up there as one of the best post-hardcore songs of the 2000s

kuroi ledge is the big one for me that song builds and evolves so magnificently before smashing into one of the most breathtaking payoffs ive ever heard. all of this shit blows my mind and continues to every time i jam this tho incredible incredible album
also gotta give some love to recluse especially the HOME IS WHERE THE HEARTS ARE SAID THE HUNGER TO THE WAITING PREDATOR YEAH I KNOW WHERE TO GO that is also one of the sickest outros ive ever heard

Most def. I love the frenetic nature (oop) of that track, the way it convulses & keeps morphing into something fresh and new. The super melodic track later in the album is also super beautiful, I think the one after Kuroi Ledge

I somehow forgot they released instrumental versions of their whole discog and I really don't think I'd want to listen to a Kurt-less version of any of these songs, unless I was trying to learn to play the parts
