finally decided to give this a listen after that interview and I'm liking what I've heard so far but god is Royals such a bad song

Royals is a very good song but it can't have much of a personal impact after that much play



there is a lot of really good stuff here though; this album has totally held on for me. love the closer

I hated it the first time I heard it, haha

like idk the song just drags (I don't mean that as in it's long - it just feels like someone took the song and pulled it ...) and she has that whine in her voice that's accentuated all the more in this song. I do think the background music is nice: love the minimalistic vibe she took for such an anthem-like song.
